Staff, volunteers and supporters of The Deafness Resource Centre came together for a sponsored walk to raise vital funds that help us continue supporting the local D/deaf community – and thanks to everyone’s incredible generosity, we’ve already raised more than £1,200
The walk wasn’t just about covering miles; it was about standing together in support of the thousands of people who rely on our services each year. Every step taken represented a commitment to ensuring that D/deaf people across Halton, St Helens and the surrounding areas can continue to access the advice, information and support they need.
From communication support and British Sign Language services to hearing aid support, wellbeing activities, advocacy and practical advice, our work makes a real difference to people’s lives. But these essential services don’t happen by chance. As a registered charity, we rely on fundraising, donations and the kindness of our community to keep many of these services running.
A huge thank you goes to everyone who walked, donated, sponsored or cheered us on. Your support helps ensure we can continue to be there for people when they need us most.
If The Deafness Resource Centre has helped you, a member of your family, a friend or someone you know, we’d love your support. It’s not too late to make a donation, and every contribution, no matter how big or small, helps us continue our work.
Every pound makes a difference. Every donation helps us reach more people. Every share helps us connect with someone who may be able to support our mission.
If you’d like to help us continue making a difference, please consider making a donation today.
